Nerds!!!

So last night when I get done teaching I called Blake like I always do and we chat about our days. This is how the conversation went......

Blake - So you going to nerd it out with me tonight and go to the release of Skyrim?

(For some of you that are not nerdy enough to know what Skyrim is it's a video game.)

Me - haha for reals?

Blake - I know I know it's really really nerdy but some guys at my work all said we would get it tonight, it will be fun we can hang out!

Me - Ok but just so you know it's like asking you to go to twilight at midnight or some midnight release of one of my books.

Blake - Yeah but we can hang out :)

He is so clever because I always want to hang out with him. :) So we went to the mall at 11 pm and waited until midnight for the re lease of Skyrim.

To be perfectly honest it was really fun! I was around a lot of nerds I guess that includes myself and Blake haha.

They had a costume contest so people went all out. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera or my phone so i didn't get any pictures. But here are the characters that they dressed up like.

There was a girl with her face painted like this cat but she had a red dress on instead. Good makeup though.

And yes they all carried weapons.

We had a great time being nerds! Got our game at 12:30 am got a milkshake and then went home and played the game. Are we children?.... YES YES we are!

Now let me tell you something about my husband he is not the chill in the hotel by the pool kind of guy on vacation he is lets get up at 6 am and get to the park in line before it opens and by at the park until it closes. Now at first it kind of was a shock but I love the crazy days and how exhausted we are when we come home. But i have convinced him I need a sleep in day:)

Something amazing we found out about when you stay at the Universal Hotels you get to get in the park an hour before the public to the new Harry Potter area way cool.and you ready for the best part.....front of the line passes to all the rides!!! Ahhh it was so amazing! Blake and I are line snobs not we don't like to wait in line longer then 30 min max if it's' longer then that we don't wait. haha I know we are brats.

So our good friend Charlie works at Universal and came and hung out with us towards the end of the day. I meet him through Tyne C. and we thought we had to dedicate a picture to her with the Tyne pose from around the world. So this one is for you Taco!

Epic Vacation

So the vacation...Blake and I last September decided we would plan a fun crazy vacation we decided we would go to Universal Studios in Orlando and spend

three days there at the Portofino Bay LOVED IT!!!!

Our hotel room looked like this except for the window to the bathroom.

So with our three days that we spent at the Universal Hotel we also went to Universal Studios for 2 of the day and we got to take this water taxi that would drop us right off at the front of the park. Here is a picture of one of them.

I loved this hotel it was beautiful and so relaxing. They had restaurants that were all Italian themed and at night they would have people playing music and singing on the walk way.
